Both series have stylized action sequences, and serious characters, and more laid-back, energetic ones. Both series characters have secrets from their past, we slowly learn more about or remains a mystery and a lot of traveling or moving around takes place in both, with a lot of unique and interesting characters met along the way.

Akame ga Kill!

Another similar anime to The Seven Deadly Sins is Akame ga Kill! Both series’ main cast are first being portrayed as the villains, but are really the good guys fighting against a corrupt system. Both series characters are usually lovable, unique, and wield incredible powers. Both series also have a middle-aged setting and magic.


Hunter x Hunter (2011)

Both series also have amazing visuals and a similar sense of adventure, with characters moving from one location to another.

Black Clover

Black Clover, like The Seven Deadly Sins, has a similar fantasy world full of magic. Both protagonists have a similar physical build, with both being knights and demons. Both series have themes of rivalry between friends, and fan service.


Fairy Tail
