We continue to march on,
Our bones grind away,
Our flesh ripped asunder,
But we continue to march on,
We march on from the day we are born to the day we die,
Fighting to be at the very top of our pairs,
Marching on, marching on,
To be the best at everything,
We march and march, till our legs hurt,
We settle for jobs, we really don’t like,
Settling and settling for the people we love,
Even though never truly understanding one another,
We continue to march on,
As the days go by and we become old and gray,
We continue to march on,
Even when it’s finally our time,
We try to continue on with our march till the very end.
