PlayStation Showcase Blows Up The Internet + More

Hey and welcome, let’s look at all the gaming news currently happening now that interests you and us at MyAnimeGo!

Let’s get started with talking about PlayStation Showcase

First look at God of War Ragnarök

God of War: Ragnarok is a game we have been really excited about and we can wait for since the release of God of War (2018). We should be getting more information about it as we get closer to the 2022 release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Kratos’ character has really changed with us from someone who’s ready to fight any battle at any time to someone who’s actually objecting to fighting and would prefer a peaceful approach. The games are always great so I can’t wait.

Insomniac Games announces Wolverine game for PS5

The adamantium-clawed mutant finally seems to be getting his due with a brand new Wolverine game by Insomniac Games. It will be a standalone game but in the vein of Insomniac’s ‘Spider-Man’.

With no release date yet all we know is that it exists, and I am really interested to see what they come up with. Insomniac Games are good at representing the heroes so far in the games they have made but still making them feel new.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 unveils first trailer for PS5

Will I buy a PlayStation 5 for Spider-Man 2 And Wolverine in 2023? Yes yes, it’s looking more and more likely. And with both creative director Bryan Intihar and game director Ryan Smith both returning, I don’t think gameplay will feel identical to part 1 but evolved on.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake is in the works but there is no release date yet, but we do know the BioWare classic Star Wars adventure is being remade by Aspyr. And according to them it is “completely rebuilt from the ground up”. So something to keep an eye on.

The first trailer for Alan Wake Remastered

We still haven’t got a sequel, but we already got two Remedy Entertainment games, a crossover, and Alan Wake Remastered. After 10 years that’s something that should put a smile on most gamers faces.

After playing Control, I am sure a lot of people are hyped, especially new players who haven’t been able to play this Gem of Remedy Entertainment.

Which I think is pretty cool. And will allow for more connections with friends and loved ones that might be far away.

Google Stadia loses upcoming exclusive Tchia

I was sad to hear I wouldn’t get to take control of animals and objects on an island, and jam away on a fully playable ukulele on Google Stadia, instead that experience will be going to PlayStation 5 and Epic Games Store users.

There are some speculations this might be because of the new Pro revenue model or probably because Stadia Games & Entertainment Studio closed in February, and they put the projects on the market, Sony swooped in and bought it.
