Does Izuku Midoriya aka Deku have multiple quirks? if so how many quirks does Deku have? Hello everyone and welcome to MyAnimeGo. There have been so many questions about My Hero Academia we decided to answer some more.

The season finale, episode 88 of My Hero Academia 4, definitely left us on a cliffhanger, with the newest twist card in its deck.

Deku has a mysterious vision where he see the previous holders of his quirk and encounters the first user of One For All. Their hands meet and Deku suddenly awakens with glass breaking around him.

My Hero Academia has succeeded again and again at flipping the script on how it interprets the superhero tropes and has continued to surprise us the readers/watchers with all its twists.

A lot of questions and theories about Izuku Midoriya’s inherited quirk One For All as definitely come out after this season. Questions like;

• Does Deku have multiple quirks?
• How much power does Deku really have?
• How many quirks does Deku have?

Deku is definitely someone with a lot of mystery, till now we have not met his father and there was a theory his quirk was stolen by the doctor that looks surprisingly like the doctor who took care of All For One. He was one of the first characters we wrote a fan theories about when we first start:

Who is Izuku Midoriya’s dad?

What does it all mean? I am sure you are asking yourselves right after My Hero Academia 4, well at MyAnimeGo we have the answers for anyone who has not been following the manga or want to clarify some details on Deku’s quirk.

So let’s get started answering your questions.

Does Deku have multiple quirks?

The short answer is Yes and No. Not a straight forward answer for does Izuku Midoriya aka Deku have multiple quirks? but that’s because One For All is quiet a complex quirk in away. And depending on how you look at it, it can be a yes or no response.

What is One For All?

One For All is an emitter type and transferable Quirk that can be passed on from one user to the next. But this doesn’t fully explain just what is One For All.

One For All is actually capable of three things so far that we know;

1. It is a Power stockpiling Quirk
2. Manifest the original quirk of previous users
3. and the third thing is something we all know Quirk Transference.

So with its second attribute, you could think of One For All has one quirk or currently six quirks.

One For All has one quirk

You can look at One For All has one quirk since all the quirks passed down by the previous holders of One For All are accepted and moulded into the core of One For All, becoming part of the quirk.

Which if you look at it this way would explain why the quirks that have manifested are more powerful in Deku than in their previous users.

Example of this is in Chapter 213, were Deku activates Daigoro Banjo quirk that creates dark energy from his arms — the Black Whip quirk, in response to Izuku’s thought of capturing a classmate during a training exercise.

It was noted that Daigoro Banjo quirk was a lot stronger in Deku than it was with its original user, which would prove it has gone under some kind of modification and merge with the quick One For All, which is a Power stockpiling Quirk. Proofing that all the quirks are in one quirk.

One For All has six quirk

One for All’s previous users gift their quirks to their successors during the transfer process, so they can be seen has individual quirks.

While it was the first user’s Transference Quirk and the quirk force on him by All For One the Power stockpiling Quirk that both combined to create One For All, and the other are added later so they can be seen has individual quirks.

If we look at it like that and as long as none of the other One For All holders was quirkless like All Might (Toshinori Yagi) and Deku (Izuku Midoriya)

1. First User – All For One
2. Second User – unknown quirk
3. Third User – unknown quirk
4. Fourth User – unknown quirk
5. Daigoro Banjo – Blackwhip
6. Sixth User – unknown quirk
7. Nana Shimura – Float
8. Toshinori Yagi – Quirkless
9. Izuku Midoriya – Quirkless

But there is another way some people also think of Deku’s quirk has seven, they take Transference Quirk and Power stockpiling Quirk also has individual quirks One For All is like a plural sense of calling the quirks.

So the next question I have been seeing:

What quirks does Deku have?

Deku has six quirks.

He has so far been able to access the quirk:

Blackwhip

The quirk of the 5th user of One For All, Daigoro Banjo allows the user to create tendrils of dark energy from their arms, helping with grappling and increasing the user’s mobility.

Float

Quirk of the 7th user of One For All, Nana Shimura master and predecessor of All Might allows the user to levitate.

With four more quirks still hidden to him, Izuku has gone from Quirkless to being one of the most dangerous and powerful people on the planet 

I can’t wait to see what type of hero, Deku becomes with all the great power that has been given to him and read more of his story to becoming the number one hero.

Will Mirio Togata aka Lemillion regain his quirk? die? or how will he get his quirk back? Hey everyone, I’m sure these are questions on everyone’s mind after episode 74 of My Hero Academia 4.

My Hero Academia 4 has been amazing as usual this season with an amazing opening and ending theme.

The story has gotten a little darker in the overhaul arc but it’s still well done. We also get to learn more about some of the characters.

But we are not here to review My Hero Academia 4 but talk about Mirio Togata and if he will get his quirk Permeation back and how this could happen.

And we at MyAnimeGo have the answers for anyone who has not been following the manga.

Mirio Togata aka Lemillion was able to hold his own against the young Yakuza boss Overhaul and his minions Chronostasis, Deidoro Sakaki and Shin Nemoto all on his own.

So in episode 74 of My Hero Academia 4, we really get to see why Sir Nighteye thinks Lemillion would be worthy to be the next holder of One for All.

Shielding Eri from the Quirk Destroying Bullet at the cost of his own quirk and his future has a hero. And just the way he swoops in to rescue Eri.

But after this episode, we were left with three questions; If Lemillion would be able to survive this fight with Overhaul? If he would regain his quirk again? and how could that happen?

So let’s start answering these questions:

Will Lemillion die?

Mirio Togata aka Lemillion will not die after his fight with Overhaul real name Kai Chisaki.

He is badly injured after and loses his quirk but he does survive and taking a temporary leave of absence from U.A High School, he does recover.

So that’s one question down haha. On to the next one!!!

Will Lemillion regain his quirk?

So far in there has been no sign of Lemillion getting his quirk back yet. But there as been a lot of evidence to show that he will eventually regain his quirk.

From two respectable sources;

Mirai Sasaki aka Sir Nighteye

Who used his quirk foresight before his death on Mirio to see his future.

And whatever he saw was good because he smiles and said Mirio would become an outstanding hero.

So Lemillion will definitely be ok. And if you have doubts cause of Foresight not being a 100% accurate, after the fight between Deku, Eri and Overhaul.

Shota Aizawa aka Eraser Head

Aizawa has said it is possible for Mirio to regain his quirk Permeation. And all of us knowing Aizawa, will know he’s not one to give people false hope.

So now let’s look at just how this could be possible.

Ways Lemillion could regain his quirk?

1. Eri

The Quirk-Destroying Drug is made from Eri’s blood.

Even Shota Aizawa has suggested that her quirk rewind can be used to rewind the bodies of those who have lost their Quirks and restore them.

However, Aizawa said that the quirk only works on living things, not on non-living things, which means that practising to master her quirk is not going to be easy.

And at Eri’s current level she still needs time to learn to control her Quirk before helping Mirio restore his quirk or she could end up rewinding him to a state of nonexistent.

But there is still hope of her mastering her quirk because she’s under the guidance of Aizawa now.

2. Kai Chisaki was wrong or lying

Eri’s quirk is a mutation after all and not like other quirks and rewind being a quirk that restores a person back to a previous state.

Could he have really mastered how to make Quirk-Destroying Drug, destroy a persons quirk permanently. Even his previous attempts at making the drug only created short term lose of quirks.

Could he really have mastered how to make the Quirk-Destroying Drug have a permanent effect or he’s just found a way of making the duration much much longer like a year or more.

3. The Antidote Serum

It’s also possible that the heroes could find the antidote serum, Overhaul said he would make one as part of his scheme to make the yakuza great again.

Knowing the type of organized person Overhaul is, it’s possible he had already made an antidote serum for the quirk destroying drug and it’s hidden away in some warehouse somewhere.

Or Quirk Scientists could make one if given time with Eri, they might be able to come up with one but after all the poor girl has been through turning her into a human test subject again would break the girl completely.

The loss of Lemillion quirk was definitely one of the saddest moments this season. But the future does look bright for our young hero Lemillion.

It’s definitely not the end of the road for Lemillion or the last we will be seeing of his quirk!

Does Tomura Shigaraki have the quirk All for One? Hey everyone and thank you for stopping by, this is a thought I had one day while rewatching Boku no Hero Academia the fight between All Might and All For One.

I mean All For One as named Tomura Shigaraki his protégé and would explain to me why it seemed All For One really was not fighting to win but just to delay or have a go at it again with All Might. He seemed like a man who had his affairs in order.

Before we start, thank you everyone who sent me messages while I was off, really appreciate them and everyone who reads my ramblings. And “No” am not quiting it’s just been a busy couple of weeks.

So before we get into all my theories or theory of if he has the power or not. Let’s take a quick look at;

Who is Tomura Shigaraki?

We first see him in the U.S.J. Arc as one of the main antagonist. Shigaraki is a villian I just fell in love with the first time I saw him. He reminds me of the Joker and Madara Uchiha combined, who when we first meet him can be childish, taking everything as a game and having a tantrum when things are not going his way. But as the story progresses we see a more calculating villian with long term plans for achieving his goals.

A real manipulative madman, he wants to kill All Might, “the symbol of peace”, destroying the society he represents and creating one in his own image, with his own form of justice. He most time doesn’t seem to care for his or almost anyone else’s life, having no problem about evil deeds like killing. He is fuelled by hate, hating everything and everyone.

We do get to understand the reason why he is the way he is. When we learn more about his past.

Feeling great love and remorse for his deceased family who he accidentally kills when he loses control of his quirk. The hands he wears all over himself are the remains of his loved ones. He states wearing them make him feel sick and yet calm at the same time. He’s a very real and believable villian.

Theories about Tomura Shigaraki acquiring All For One?

• Shigaraki has not inherited All For One

Because;

He Needs More Time

All For One is a quirk that allows it’s user to steal others quirks making them their own and even combining the stolen quirks. Also allowing the user to give stolen quirks to other people.

All For One has acquire a lot of quirks over the many many many years he’s been alive. That definitely a lot of power to put into anyone if they are not prepared for it.

Shigaraki needs time to develop like Izuku Midoriya needed time, to get his mind and body ready for One For All.

His quirk is more complex than it seems

The delay in giving him All For One are due to another theory I have.

That Tomura Shigaraki decay quirk is a mutation like Eri, whose quirk gives her the ability to physically rewind something she comes in contact with.

What if Shigaraki quirk is not actually decay but physically forwarding something he comes in contact with.

That would explain All For One’s experimentation on Nomus, to figure out how to get Shigaraki ready for his quirk All For One.

Eri and Shigaraki do share striking similarities both having white hair and red eyes, which could be the physical appearance of mutated quirk users. That would explain why All For One has not passed it to him.

So there will be a need for a prison break Arc so that Shigaraki can inherit All For One.

• Tomura Shigaraki already has All For One

Shigaraki does let us know more about his past while he was confiding in Himiko and Twice, about how hard it is siding with those that wounded him. He seems to have vague memories of what happened the day he awakens and losses control of his quirk killing his family and meeting All For One.

So what if this was all All For One’s doing, Shigaraki’s partial memory lose and everything that happen that day. And All For One has already passed on his quirk to him.

Shigaraki doesn’t just remember or he was just pretending and he’s hiding the quirk for now. That would explain why recovery for All For One is hard and why he’s been hiding in the shadows.

And the fight with All Might was also just an ember of what remained of his quirk. So it was two of the greatest quirk users making their final solo stand.

• All For One is just playing another game

All For One is tricking everyone

I would not put it pass All For One to just be manipulating Shigaraki and not having any intention of passing his quirk on to him or maybe we are the ones misunderstanding what he means by making Shigaraki, his protégé.

He does seem genuine about making him the next underworld ruler. But this is All For One we are talking about I don’t think a person who has lived for so long might be willing to just give that up.

All For One and Tomura Shigaraki are the same

He could be using Shigaraki to return to his prime self. Maybe it’s an Orochimaru-Sasuke situation, And All For One has some mind tranfer quirk.

Or maybe Shigaraki has not been Shigaraki for a long time now or some sort of shared conciseness thing.

Well either way we will just have to wait and see what the author of My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi has in store for us.
