Happy New Years everyone!!! Okay, so I figured we better write this post before we get knee dip in anime, manga, gaming and other otaku related media. It’s been roughly 2+ years since we started MyAnime2Go, and I am so glad with just how much we have changed over those years.
I really don’t know what to say in this post. But I definitely know I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU for an amazing year! Yes you reading this post right now, all our readers old and new, fellow bloggers in the trenches with us and last but not least my first two biggest fans, who have been ever supportive, my amazing mum and girlfriend.
This goes without saying but I’ll say it anyway! THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH! Your support, comments and kind words mean so much and I can’t tell you how grateful we are that you are following us on this journey we are on.
You kept coming back each and every day reading and sharing our ramblings with your friends and family. You are the reason we do this. The thing about blogging – is that so much of it is done on your own, in quiet rooms and million miles away from you lovely people. So it was nice to know that even with how bad last year was, we were still on your phones, laptops and tablets, and maybe help you, even a little.
A conversation goes both ways so we really appreciate that it wasn’t just us rambling into the void. It’s just so validating to see you here and hear your thoughts and know that people like reading our thoughts and opinions on anime, manga, games and other Weeaboo things! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Oh, one more thing I was going to do quickly before I sign off is say that I won’t be doing new year’s resolutions this year, it’s just going to be the same old me because why constantly try to change something when instead I can just learn to accept myself for who I am and just enjoy life.

Oh my glob, there’s so much I could say. THANK YOU so much dear readers! We wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for y’all. This year has been crazy and stressful but anime and blogging has gotten me through. I’m grateful for my husband (we hit our one year in September!) and my cute puppy who get me through all my crazy sad days. If you knew me on my old blog before I combined forces with YumDeku, you know I struggle so much with manic depression (aka bipolar), major depression, agoraphobia and anxiety. And that’s just the MENTAL stuff. There are so many days that I can’t get out of bed or do anything but stare at the ceiling. Blogging helps me feel like I can make a difference to others.
I want the next year to keep getting better, to keep improving, but I’m learning to accept that my normal is different for what someone else’s would/will be. And that’s okay! I didn’t go out to eat this year (hello, pandemic) but I did find an awesome job that lets me listen to audiobooks and podcasts all day. It’s been years since I could sit down and focus on a book. I want to keep beating levels of beat saber, finally win at among us and just focus on the little things. it’s OKAY to not be OKAY!

Hey folks. I want to start out my section by saying thanks again to YumDeku and The Nerdy Girl News for allowing me to join the their team at the end of a chaotic year. Blogs are usually pretty personal, so I appreciate them both letting me help out with content.
With that being said, Happy New Years! It has been a struggle to come up with anything positive this year, but one thing I will never stop enjoying is writing articles for all my lovely readers, and now that includes you folks as well, though I imagine there is a bit of crossover already.
As far as new years resolutions go, my goals this year are to get my poetry published in a literary journal/magazines and to improve at Smash Ultimate enough to win a tournament. Outside of that, I just want to be able to go to a movie theater sometime this year.
Beyond that, I don’t actually have too much else to say, other than wishing you all a good 2021. Take it away, YumDeku!
Okay, We could go on and on about this stuff but I’m just gonna stop us here! Thank you once again for all your help and support this year! Happy New Year to you, your friends and family! Here’s to 2021!!!
