In the Naruto anime universe, there are plenty of different ninja clans that tend to keep their bloodline pure because of the fact that these clans have techniques and attributes that tend to be limited to their bloodline. As such, some of the strongest characters in Naruto tend to come from these powerful clans. With that said, letโs look at some of the strongest Naruto clans.

10. Yamanaka Clan
The Yamanaka clan isnโt exactly the strongest when it comes to combat, but this clan sure is powerful when it comes to supporting other clans. What makes the Yamanaka clan so powerful is the fact that they are able to use their minds to control their enemies or for long-range communication.
In battle, the Yamanaka clanโs powers are best suited for support, especially when they are teamed up with members of the Akimichi and Nara clans. This is where the traditional Ino-Shika-Cho combo comes in, as the combination of the special techniques of these clans allows them to control a battlefield effectively.
9. Sarutobi Clan
The Sarutobi clan probably isnโt the strongest when it comes to their recent members because they really donโt have powerful ninjas in recent years. However, the Sarutobi clan has always been around to help keep the peace between the different clans in the Hidden Leaf and act as protectors of the village.
Of course, the greatest Sarutobi remains to be the third Hokage, who is a master of almost all of the different techniques in the ninja world. While Asuma, Konohamaru, and Mirai arenโt as powerful as Hiruzen, they are still pretty much capable.
8. Hatake Clan
The only Hatake we have seen showing his full capabilities is Kakashi, but we did hear plenty of stories about his father, Sakumo, who was said to be just as powerful or even stronger as the legendary Sannin.
While we didnโt really see Sakumo in action against powerful foes, what we do know is the fact that Kakashi eventually became the sixth Hokage, considering that he has the combination of skills, intelligence, and experience thatโs better than any other ninja in the village.
7. Kazekage Clan
One of the few powerful clans that donโt belong to the Hidden Leaf, the Kazekage clan is literally the clan where the Kazekages of the Hidden Sand are from. These are ninjas with powerful special techniques that only they are able to do. One case in point is the fact that Gaara and his father are capable of manipulating sand.
Of course, another aspect that makes the Kazekage clan so powerful is the fact that they are in control of the one-tailed beast. This power allowed Gaara to become the youngest Kage in the history of the Naruto ninja world.
6. Nara Clan
The Nara clan is as ninja as any ninja clan can be because of the fact that the members of this clan are usually working behind the shadows and can manipulate shadows. Using the ability to control their shadows, the Nara clan can strike from anywhere at any given time.
But the one thing that makes the Nara clan so dangerous is the fact that they are the best when it comes to strategy. All members of the Nara clan are geniuses when thinking of tactics in battle, and thatโs why they are often advisers to the Hokage.
The Uzumaki clan is a clan that branched out from the Otsutsuki clan long ago and are distant relatives of the Senju clan. Considering that they are closely related to the clan of the Sage of Six Paths, the Uzumaki were powerful and feared, although their numbers dwindled.
In the past, the Uzumaki clan was known for its sealing techniques, which Naruto and the newer members of the clan could no longer perform. But the fact that this clan has powerful members like Naruto and Boruto means that this is still a powerful family in the ninja world.
4. Hyuga Clan
The Hyuga clan is one of the most powerful groups in the entire Naruto world because of the fact that this clan has access to the Byakugan, which allows the user to have X-ray vision and a vision that is nearly 360 degrees. Meanwhile, Hyuga clan members are descendants of Hamura, the twin brother of the Sage of Six paths.
Members of this clan are great one-on-one fighters because of the techniques that they use in conjunction with the Byakugan. They are masters of hand-to-hand fights and can deactivate chakra pressure points. On top of that, the Hyuga clan is large and is quite arguably the strongest clan in the Hidden Leaf in terms of manpower.
3. Uchiha Clan
The Uchiha clan directly descends from Indra Otsutsuki, and that means that this is a powerful clan with half of the powers of Hagoromo Otsutsuki. This clan inherited the Sharingan, which is a powerful eye technique that gives the Uchiha one of the most powerful visual abilities in the ninja world. The Sharingan also allows them to use different Jutsu like Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and the ever-powerful Susanoo.
Of course, the Uchiha is so powerful that some of the most powerful ninjas in the entire Naruto universe are from this clan. We are talking about Madara, Itachi, and Sasuke, who are all dangerous enough to wipe out entire armies on their own.
2. Senju Clan
One-half of Hagoromoโs bloodline eventually led to the formation of the Senju clan, which descendent from Asura. While the Senju donโt have the same kind of visual prowess and natural affinity for different techniques that the Uchiha do, this clan is physically stronger and comes with naturally high levels of chakra.
While there are people who would say that the Senju and the Uchiha are just about equal in terms of strength, it is worth noting that the strongest of the Senju has always been better than the strongest of the Uchiha. Hashirama defeated Madara while Naruto (although a distant Senju) defeated Sasuke.
1. Otsutsuki Clan
The most powerful clan in the Naruto ninja world is Otsutsuki. While the Otsutsukis are not from the world of the Naruto universe as they are actually aliens, they are still from the anime series. And the reason why the Otsutsukis are so powerful is the fact that they are basically godlike beings.
For example, Kaguya Otsutsuki herself is the progenitor of the Naruto ninja world and gave birth to Hagoromo, who the Senju and the Uchiha descended from. Meanwhile, all of the other Otsutsuki members that appeared in Boruto are said to be just as strong or even stronger than Kaguya. This goes to show just how strong the Otsutsukis are.

This one was the very first character and show recommended to me. One of the major focuses is Simon, a dark-skinned sushi chef who hails from Russia.
24. Basquash!
Basquash embodies all your generic anime cliches, but its saving grace is its chemistry. We follow a cast of fun, colorful, and nicely developed characters through a roller-coaster of an anime with its ups and downs that keep your eyes glued for the next episode. We also got the cute and lovable BigFoot mechanic, Miyuki Ayukawa.
23. Michiko & Hatchin
ย Michiko & Hatchinย has such a large cast of diverse characters and they’re absolutely breathtaking. The art for this one is one of my favorites.
22. Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!
I love anime. You love anime. Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! is a love letter to animation. The story is about completely different people whose love for anime brings them together, making anime, talking about anime, and thinking about anime. The details of storyboarding, animation, sound design, voice acting, and management get illustrated in detail. I learned a lot about anime production by watching this.
This is a show that can make any fan of the action genre glued to their screen with its colorful cast of characters, gore, action, and gun show with bullets flying all over the screen. It wastes little time showing the gloom and doom of our characters’ occupations. At the same time, it also finds ways to make the series relaxing through some heartwarming moments and comedic scenes.
19. Cowboy Bebop
Now letโs wrap up the list with ย Cowboy Bebop. Itโs known to be the first anime title broadcast on Adult Swim in the United States. It has such a portrayal of racial diversity that fans love (us included!)
18. Fire Force
Fire Force has an interesting plot, with a large diverse cast of supernatural firefighters fighting against flame monsters with axes, machine guns, nuns, cool techniques, amazing music, and over-the-top ecchi fanservice.
17. Haikyu!!
One of the most recent additions to this roster is Aran Ojiro from season 4 of the popular volleyball anime, โHaikyu!!.โ
16. Japan Sinks: 2020
The series did a pretty good job with its diverse cast. Japan Sinks follows an outrageous story with lots of twists and turns that did a great job portraying the psychological effects on the characters surviving an apocalypse.
15. Kino’s Journey
Kino’s Journey takes us through its lands and venturing through various countries and places, encountering different kinds of customs, from the morally gray to tragic and fascinating. The protagonists meet many people: some who live to work, some to make others happy, and some who live to chase their dreams. Thus, in every country they visit, there is always something to learn from the way people carry out their lives.
14. Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma
Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma is an anime about cooking battles. The story revolves around Soma Yukihira who wants to become a cook and surpass his father in cooking.
When heโs sent to Tootsuki Culinary Academy, an elite cooking school where only 10 percent of the students graduate. The series has a large cast of diverse characters all of which are memorable, quirky, and interesting.
13. Run with the Wind
Run with the Wind is an anime with an emotionally-charged journey, great character development, a story, and a diverse cast. It was so uplifting, that I wanted to go out and run. It tackles some social issues and looks at the importance of unity and teamwork in a group.
12. Appare-Ranman!
Another amazing original work is anime by P.A works. This time it comes in the form of steampunk racing anime. It’s a wild, wacky and entertaining journey with Appare and his cohorts as they race from Los Angeles to New York for prize money to return home to Japan. Unfortunately, things aren’t as smooth sailing as they’d like.
11. Great Pretender
Great Pretender follows the endeavors of Makoto alongside the cunning Laurent and his colorful associates in the world of international high-stakes fraud. It’s a great show, that’s not your typical crime thriller. Full of many exciting scenes, well-written characters, and a mature style targeted at older people or an adult audience.
10. JoJoโs Bizarre Adventure

JoJo’s is already a classic but this just makes it even better!
Even though Hetalia Axis Powers episodes are shorts, you will be rewarded with some of the most adorably diverse anime characters while learning something about their nations. It is a series that despite its lack of plot still manages to be hilarious, idiotic, and clever all at the same time. It is also a good watch if youโre feeling a bit sad, and want some cheering up, offering a laugh or two.
8. My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is a series inspired by American superhero comics, it has elements you will be accustomed to from the superhero genre like fights that are more tactically focused, being able to keep the audience on the edge of their seats, and having a wide range of characters with ridiculous but creative powers.
7. Carole & Tuesday
Carole & Tuesday. There is so much representation and diversity in the showยดs cast. Plenty of characters of different races, gay characters, and even trans characters, which you donยดt see a lot of in anime. They never dwell on it for too long or make a big deal out of it, it simply feels very natural.
6. Naruto: Shippuden
Though an epic shounen series, itโs not just fighting that the show has to offer; you will find yourself laughing out loud numerous times throughout the series. From its many iconic and diverse characters to an exciting array of fights, thereโs plenty to love with this show that spanned over 500 episodes and spin-offs.
5. Bleach
Bleach is an amazing anime thanks to its over-the-top action scenes, supernatural themes, memorable large cast, humor, a ranking system for fighters, world-building, and beautiful art style.
4. Berserk
Berserk is amazing, the series taps into a level of brutality and atmosphere thatโs though can be dark and gloomy but just works. With amazing fight scenes, David vs. Goliath moments, love, friendship, corruption, and betrayal. The series uses a large rooster of characters to look at human nature and the growth of one’s character with time.
3. Afro Samurai
Afro Samurai is an anime about revenge and katanas, filled with a lot of action right off from the beginning of the story. Using a diverse cast and a reimagined period of the samurai to look at the moral and surrounding implications of chasing revenge, and how we all cope with loss.
2. Black Lagoon
Black Lagoon has been well-received by fans and is worth a watch if you already love watching action anime with a lot of mayhem featuring modern-day pirates, outrageously amazing action scenes, with interesting and diverse characters from all walks of life and upbringings.
1. Samurai Champloo
One of my personal favorite Samurai Champloo has stylized action sequences and a seriously large multicultural cast of characters. There is a lot of traveling with the three protagonists stumbling upon situations that cover diverse cultures, characters, and even religions. Similar to Naruto, Slam Dunk infuses the same feelings of amazement, with both series at first not being something you know you need (sounding cheesy) but end up being something you want more of. Both series also have similar main characters, humor, and surprising depth to them.
The third installment continues the adapted Chinese folk story with Sanzou, Gokuu, Hakkai, and Gojou reaching the end of their journey to the west to stop demons from resurrecting Gyumao and restore the balance between humans and demons on Earth. What will they find at the end?
One nice thing about the series is you don’t necessarily have to have watched the previous seasons to be able to understand and follow the plot.

Blue Exorcist is another interesting shounen like Naruto, with similar protagonists that love to help others. Both protagonists live a fairly normal life until they unlock something unnatural in themselves. Both series have characters that are in a group that focuses on keeping the world safe. Silent, apathetic, yet mischievous, 14-year-old Miharu Rokujou has a forbidden ninja art called the Shinrabanshou inside him, a skill that gives him the ability to grant wishes. With many ninja clans desiring his ability. Miharu will have to face the underground ninja world, with the help of his fellow ninja club members.

Similar to Naruto, Nabari no Ou’s protagonist also has immense, possibly dark power hidden inside and is also seen as worthless at the beginning. Both series deal with themes of loneliness, conflict, and bonds created between characters.
The story follows Shichika Yasuri, a swordsman that uses his own body like a blade, and his companion the strategist Togame, who has been ordered by the shogunate to retrieve 12 unique swords, and Shinchika smitten by her, helps her on her dangerous mission.

Both protagonists have a powerful being inside them that tries to take control of their bodies and a senior white-haired senpai. Both protagonists also fight to help others and donโt get me started on the bromance and rivalry. Many blade techniques are only possible when Ikki wields Ittetsu. The most vital one among all the techniques is the Ittou Shura. When the technique is released, Ikki lets go of his survival instincts and reaches a realm of nirvana. In this state, his physical powers are doubled and he can accomplish movements that are impossible in normal human terms. And if he pairs Itto Shura with Ittou Rasetsu, he can exhibit a power that even the most powerful Blazers wish to achieve.

Being the son of Satan, one has many convenient facilities that others don’t have. But the Kurikara is not one of those benefits. Rin obtained this blade, not from his actual father but from the adoptive one. He had this sword to help him seal the half demonic nature but instead amplified it. Shiro was supposed to kill Rin with this sword but he then sealed Rins’ demon heart within the sword unintentionally boosting it.
When in the sheath, the sword is like any other Maken in the series. But once drawn, it releases its true form. The blade is coated with blue flames from the sealed demon heart. And it also brings out the demon-like nature of Rin. Only after mastering the flames of Hell within his heart, Rin was able to control Kurikara to its fullest and defeat the Impure king without harming the bystanders.

Having the appearance of a teenager, Yukine seems like a normal kid in their rebellious period. He revolted against Yato and even sins by stealing. But that is all when he is in his human form. This cheerful kid turns into one of the most powerful weapons in the series when Yato asks it to transform into its true form, a guardless katana. Yukine is the head and only Sikki of the God of War, Yato. And thus one can just imagine his true potential.
But this potential is boosted manifolds when Ykine becomes a blessed vessel. In its normal form, Ykine is a katana with no extra accessories. That means it has no hilt, guard, or even sheath. Yes, the wielder of the said blades have different strengths from each other but their blades are not the ones causing it.
Other than a handful, most of the Nichirin blades have the ideal Japanese katana shape. And this is because of the versatility of the said form. One can execute almost all types of sword styles and breaths using their sword. The specialty of these blades is their material, Nichirin. This special ore can absorb the sunlight and retain it. And this property helps the Demon Slayers slay the Demons for good. Moreover, the blade doesn’t have a specific color. That’s because when a wielder wields it, it absorbs the user’s aura and adapts a color that signifies the user’s strength.

The sword is a solid black blade with a Swastika guard on its black hilt. The blade attained its true form when the spirit of Zangetsu properly manifested. Two spirits were residing within Ichigo’s Zanpakuto. So when Ichigo finally attained his Bankai, the true spirit, the white Ichigo took control and gave Ichigo immeasurable power. It was thanks to this that Ichigo can now go against the entire Soul Society with ease.

And to prove his point the blade he used was this nameless Tachi. Yes, a tachi is different from a Katana but only in its length. The significance of both a Tachi and a Katana is the same in a Samurai’s life.
That is why this Tachi wielded by Afro is one of the most iconic Japanese swords in anime history. The blade is nothing special. It is a long blade made of regular steel. The sword has a square gray guard which is complemented by the red sheath and hilt. But the ferocity that Afro wields his Tachi with, made this regular blade one of the most iconic ones with ease.

It is a wooden sword that has the absurd title of Hoshikudaki, Star Destroyer. Though the origin of the name might be unconfirmed due to Gintoki’s joking nature, its performance is unchallenged. Using this wooden Samurai sword, Gintoki cut down steel and even giant robots. Not only that but he also smashed his opponent’s metal sword with this wooden joke!

They are Zoro and his Wado Ichimonji. Being a masterpiece created by the legendary swordsmith, Shimotsuki Kozaburo, it is one of the 21 Great Grade swords. With its pure white hilt and circular guard, it looks like any other Samurai sword. But don’t be deceived by its appearance.

The sword is the worst when it comes to killing its opponent due to the blade being inward instead of the belly. Still, it has the most impact on fans for this reverse blade helped Himura grow and become what he wanted to be.
The most significant fact is the Sakabato wielded by Himura is not even in its full form. It was nothing but a shadow of the true sword. 15. Write Messages for Healing
Like previous Souls games, players can leave behind messages to either help or bait others during their progression. Players may rate (appraise) messages they come across in the open world and will immediately heal the player who wrote them. This can come in handy if fighting minions or bosses or facing the many traps in the world. The only requirement is for the author of the message to be online.
14. Easily Sort Inventory
The ability to sort your inventory is pretty easy to use even though the game doesnโt tell you. Navigate to the inventory menu, and press in on the left stick. This will give you the option to sort by type (the default), number owned, order of newest item, weight, or attack power of items.
13. Don’t Miss Out on the Spirit Calling Bell
Elden Ring like all FromSoftware games can be tough but thankfully there is a new feature that makes the game more welcoming for newer players called Summoning Spirits. To โsummon spirits, you need a special item called โCalling Bellโ. Which can only be gotten as of writing from Renna the witch.
You will find her most at the Church of Elleh Grace checkpoint. She will be sitting on the eastern ruined wall of the church. This is the same place where you meet the first vendor. Just make sure you can summon your mount Torrent before then.
12. Upgrade your Spirit Summons
Using Spirit Summons is one of the best ways to defeat bosses and large swarms of enemies in Elden Ring. To upgrade Spirit Summons, you must first visit Roderika in Limgrave around the Stormhill Shack Site of Grace.
Help with her quest and it will teleport her to the Roundtable Hold, where you can get her an apprenticeship with Blacksmith Hewg to unlock Spirit Tuning which is used to upgrade your summons.
11. More than Two Types of Teardrop of Scarabs
Early on, youโll learn about Teardrop Scarabs, little dung beetles rolling blue and red balls across the fields of Limgrave. Even though the game tells you they have two purposes: restoring your health and mana flasks, there are several types of scarabs running around the world that offer other rewards like rare item drops, Ashes of War, and so on.
10. Dropping Rainbow Stones
Elden Ring rainbow stones help to prevent fatal fall damage, dropping a rainbow stone off a cliff or other height and seeing if it breaks (dies from fall) or illuminate the surrounding area (survives fall) will let you know whether you’ll be able to safely make that same fall.
After defeating a major story boss and getting a Great Rune, you are probably trying to find a Divine Tower to charge it. Finger Readers are not the best help to find one but to narrow one down, look to the horizon.
Watchtowers and other, smaller structures seem smaller next to these massive structures on the map from nearly any location in the game. Easy right? Now just get past their puzzles and other obstacles.
8. What Steles Are and Where to Find
To fill out your blank map, you must find Steles. These are tall, ornate slabs with writing on them. You’ll find the map fragment at the foot of the stele. Once you have the fragment, just open the world map, and the region will now be shown. To find them easily make sure you head for the only thing marked on your map when you enter a new district for the first time.
7. Get the Flask of Wondrous Physick
To find the Flask of Wondrous Physick go to the Third Church of Marika Site of Grace, it will be on the ground in front of the statue. It will allow you to harness the power of Crystal Tears, mixing your own concoctions to gain special effects that can help you in battle or dangerous areas.
6. Think of Setting a Group Password
Setting a group password only takes a moment to fill out and will award you runes every time someone in your group defeats a boss. It will also allow you to see messages from your group differently, for some trusted advice or just hilarious boss or trap fails the player committed while playing.
5. Interact with the Candelabras
Theyโre not just for lighting your way, though you can interact with them. Doing so will summon a ghost and its spectral footprints glowing in gold on the ground, that if you follow will eventually walk to a hidden cave or dungeon you havenโt been to before.
4. Weapons Are Better at Different Status Effects
Different weapons are better at dealing with specific status effects. Like how faster weapons deal less status per hit, while slower ones deal more to compensate for their speed.
You can monitor this by looking at the numbers in the Passive Effects section at the bottom of your screen when applying different damage types, to figure out what works for you.
3. Two-Hand and Dual-Wield for More Damage
To do a lot more damage and, with some weapons like the Twinblade, gain access to new skills. Press Triangle and either L1 or R1 to wield the left or right weapon with two hands but you won’t be able to use a shield to parry or defend yourself.
2. Monitor Poise and Super Armor
Both mechanics are important in combat, seeing as it is what determine when an enemy gets staggered and becomes open to deliver a critical hit. So if you want to stagger an enemy, make sure you keep hitting and counter their attacks.
1. Don’t Skip the Cave of Knowledge
In the early moments of Elden Ring, youโll wake up in a cave with a ghostly figure sitting in a chair. Moving past him, you’ll see a doorway that opens into the full world. Donโt go there, instead drop into the hole the seated ghost is next to, it leads to a small sub-area known as the Cave of Knowledge. Thatโs the tutorial area.

Now, when I saw the female titan’s hair, I asked myself if it was Annie, but I didn’t want it to be true since Eren and his crew were not ready for this or any other surprise attack. But since we’re talking about Attack on Titan, people are always going to die. Regardless of how important they are often in cruel ways and at the hands of the flesh-eating human freaks.
The female titan was extra tarrying, mainly because she murdered a handful of people in the forest and the field as if they were a bunch of flies.
At one point, she was spinning a human being around like a yo-yo, so yes this was revolting to watch, and let’s just say I’m still not over the fact that Petra died at the hands of Annie.
9. Anthy Stabs Uthena
Anime: Revolutionary Girl Utena
Revolutionary Girl Utena is a much-admired series with many symbolisms and surrealisms, which are the stamps of Kunihiko Ikuhara’s project. It is unafraid to analyze and explore nations of gender roles, gender identity, and the fairy tale tropes shaping what children think about women and men.
Utena is of course a woman but she does not aspire to be a stereotypical princess who will wait for her prince charming to show up and save her from a tower of misery. No, she wants to be a mensch to Anthy Himemiya. Anthy on the other hand has her problems.

During the second shinobi war, Jiraya spent a few of his days teaching ninjutsu to three orphans from the hidden rain village. One of these orphans was Nagato, who possessed the legendary Rinnegan.
Despite Jiraya’s efforts to teach the orphans to utilize their skills for good, the brutality of the third shinobi war and the loss of one of his buddies shattered Nagato’s faith in humanity. Nagato suddenly takes a darker path, believing that only pain and suffering can bring peace.
He even took a headship in the Akatsuki and eventually fought Jiraya when he crept into the hidden rain village. Truth be told it was a terrible reunion in which Nagato ended up murdering his very own teacher.

The story of Fate Stay Night is based on Shirou Emiya. An honest and hard-working teenager who, against his better judgment, enters a death tournament called the fifth holy grail war.
In the tournament, he competes against historical heroes and wizards for the chance to have their wishes granted. Archer’s betrayal of his previous self has to be one of the most impressive betrayal scenarios in anime history.
No one could have predicted that Rin’s helper in Unlimited Blade Works would be another Shirou, an older version from a different dimension. Archer is a counter guardian. He is thereafter making a contract to go back into a different timeline and murder himself before creating the entire Fate Stay Night timeline. While he didn’t get the chance to kill his younger self, it was a memorable and shocking moment in the story.

At a glance, Kyubey seemed to be the last thing that would ever betray anyone but think again. This cat-liked character may appear as the perfect stuffed animal for little girls because of its adorable facade and charming looks. Because of being the best example of a little girl’s dream, it remains the reason it approaches them as a messenger of magic.
With the guarantee of granting one of their biggest wishes, the little girls must agree to fight the witches destroying the world in exchange. Kyubey’s offer now appears to be too good to be true. Become a savior in exchange for everything you want.
The fact, however, is that the messenger of magic is keeping a sinister secret regarding his deal with the contractors. When the girls failed at fulfilling the contract, they become the very witches they are hunting down as magical girls.
As a result of this consequence, the chain of events becomes more tragic and ruthless.

In the fifth position, we have Rachel’s unforgiving betrayal. Rachel and Bam have always been each other’s best friends. As a matter of fact. Bam adores Rachel so much that he chases after her and climbs the tower of god.
A risky challenge that requires his participant to pass a series of tough obstacles to reach the top. As you can see, Bam is ready to risk his life for her just so he can see her again. Before reaching the next step of the tower, Rachel throws Bam off the ledge, causing him to die.
Why does she do this? she was her best friend, right? Well, the explanation for this is that she was jealous of him and how special he was.
4. Sailor Uranus And Sailor Neptunesa

We have the betrayal from the Sailor Scouts. Sailor Moon is somewhat a lighthearted anime with love as a central theme. Usagi Tsukino may appear to be an ordinary girl, but she awakens as the head of the Sailor Scouts, a troop of female guardians.
They start as a small squad but end up adding more queens to their family. The scouts are the kind of people who are there for each other. One of the most surprising anime betrayals comes from two of the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune.
These two were already known for doing their hocus pocus during battles. Still, things took a more devious turn when they deserted the Sailor Scout and joined forces with Sailor Galaxia with a mission to defeat Usagi. One of the many reasons this was a terrible betrayal was because it caused many of Sailor guardian’s death.
3. Itachi Uchiha’s Clan Extermination

At number three, we have Itachi killing his clan including his parents. Itachi was responsible for almost annihilating his very own clan and leaving only his little brother Sasuke behind. That’s a heartbreaking and unforeseen cause of betrayal.
If this series was anything like Berserk or Attack on Titan, we could have witnessed an intense or visceral visual retelling of how it all happened but even without the terrifying details, anyone could see how Itachi’s actions changed Sasuke’s entire life.
However, the end discovery is that it is not as serious a betrayal as was previously imagined. He still finds it difficult to defend what Itachi did, but don’t worry, he’s not a completely bad person for doing it.

On the second position, we have Reiner and Bertholdt when they reveal their titans. Since the beginning of time, titans have been petrifying humanity, often gulping them down like a bunch of cherries without feeling an inch of remorse.
Humanity finally managed to control the threat by building massive walls around their hometown at some point in history. These walls would serve as a sure-fire way to keep titans away from their hometown and bothering everyone’s peace.
It wasn’t until the year 845 that the armored and colossus titan tore through the walls as if they were weak sheets of paper and ultimately endangering humanity again. After a titan mercilessly ate his mother, the startling event inspired the anime’s protagonists Armin and Eren to join the military.
After that day, he swore to take the titans down and join the military to take revenge against the titans. As he continues his journey, he meets a couple of exciting personalities, Bertholdt and Reiner. Eren shared his hatred for the titans with these two men.
It wasn’t until a great battle that the two revealed they were the same titans who smashed the kingdom’s walls and devoured every human they could find. Hence, serving as one of the most brutal and unexpected anime betrayals for both the viewers and of course, Eren.

At number five on our list of anime shows similar to The Seven Deadly Sins is my personal favorite Samurai Champloo. Both series have stylized action sequences, and serious characters, and more laid-back, energetic ones. Both series characters have secrets from their past, we slowly learn more about or remains a mystery and a lot of traveling or moving around takes place in both, with a lot of unique and interesting characters met along the way.
